What is a "Reman" Engine?
Remanufactured engine may mean different things to different companies.
A NDE Remanufactured engine is a engine that has been stripped to the bare block, all machining is done to bring major components right back to standard specifications. Then from the bare block up, we begin our reasssembly. At that point everything we touch is either replaced or rebuilt right up to a running engine.How do I Begin the Reman Process with NDE?
Upon contacting us for a quote on your reman engine, just have as much of the following information as possible. Model and Serial number of old engine or desired engine. If you have a core exchange, what is the exact damage done to the core. Finally, tell us where you want the finished engine to be shipped? At that point our professionals will research and get back with you on a price and availibility ASAP.
Who Handles Shipping?
NDE will handle all logistics from the shipping of your core to us, to the delivery of the NDE Reman back to you. The total shipping price you get quoted will include any fees involved with purging the reman engine of all hazardous materials, as well as, the crating and packaging of your newly rebuilt engine in preparation for shipment.
How Does the Warranty Work?
Upon quoting the remanufactured engine, NDE will include, in writing, our warranty procedure. It is a worldwide warranty that is very simple and designed to take the stress off you, our customer, should an issue arise. We are very proud of our product and we have kept any such problems to a bare minimum over the years, but issues due arise. It is NDE's philosophy to use such as an opportunity to show how well we will take care of our customers.

What Parts are Being Used?
At NDE, we use the products that are best suited for the engine being built. Through years of experience we have found that there are certain parts suppliers that have a better product for one model engine that might not be the best for another. NDE will take the time to discuss all your options in this regard. Because we are an independent engine rebuilder, this allows us to explore all of our options so as to provide you with the best possible product for your engine.

NDE IS the Engine builder. All our engines are built in house by our experienced techs. Our philosophy is if we are going to give you a top of the line warranty, we want to have our hands involved in all aspects of your engine's rebuild.
